Sirio Pharma has announced the launch of a new anti-ageing institute that will work to accelerate research on longevity.

The company announced the launch of the Sirio Institute for Anti-Ageing (SIA) at the 2025 Boao Health Food Science Conference & Expo.

According to Sirio, the Institute will aim to address population ageing guided by the principle of “evidence-based anti-ageing”.

Sirio said: “SIA accelerates the development of scientifically validated ingredients and precision formulations. We’re pioneering tailored solutions to meet surging demand for personalised, data-driven interventions – because ageing isn’t inevitable, but an opportunity for innovation.”

The first phase of research at the SIA include Sirio’s Four Pillars of Longevity, including cellular rejuvenation systems, probiotics and gut health, musculoskeletal vitality, and women’ s ovarian health.

Sirio has also stated that the SIA will build an “ageing intervention” evidence framework that validates nutritional biomarkers for ageing pathways, co-develops industry gold standards, and which transitions anti-ageing claims from marketing to measurable science

The SIA will bring together global leaders in longevity research, including Research Assistant Professor at the Southern University of Science and Technology, Dr. Yuxuan Lyu, who is chief scientific advisor at Sirio.
