AlayaCare has acquired Nightingale Software to expand its aged care footprint in Australia and New Zealand, pending customary conditions and regulatory approvals. AlayaCare

Nightingale’s platform will continue to operate and staff will be retained, with services supported by AlayaCare’s technology, product roadmap and resources.

The company says its all-in-one platform offers real-time data insights, personalised care tools and extensive configuration, backed by a multi-million-dollar annual R&D budget and AI solutions. AlayaCare says it now serves around 30 per cent of the Australian home care market.

AlayaCare chief executive Adrian Schauer said: “What drew us to Nightingale was that their platform and values aligned with our own.”

“By pairing AlayaCare’s innovation and AI technology with Nightingale’s platform and expertise in the disability space, we can deliver solutions that make care work easier and more fulfilling while making providers more efficient and successful.”

Nightingale chief executive Sandy Forrest said: “We’re are looking forward to working closely with AlayaCare to explore new ways to improve care, use technology more effectively, and deliver even better outcomes. Our focus remains on supporting our clients and the people they care for.”

AlayaCare says the acquisition broadens its aged care, home care and disability offering, helps address workforce constraints, and aims to improve client and provider experiences.
